Alfred Basic Adult Piano Course

A piano course for beginners of all ages
Alfred's Basic Piano Library offers 4 complete beginning piano methods that use the same
eclectic reading approach (with a focus on intervals). However, the grading, songs, illustrations,
covers and names of the courses are all different:
• Young Beginners - Alfred's Basic Prep Course, Levels A, B, C, D, E, F
• Beginners - Alfred's Basic Piano Course, Levels 1A, 1B, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6
• Alfred's Basic All-in-One Course, Levels 1, 2, 3, 4, 5
• Later Beginners - Alfred's Basic Complete Level 1, Levels 2/3

These choices allow the teacher to design a personalized curriculum for each student. No longer
does one method have to fit everyone. This is especially helpful when there are two students
within one family. This allows the teacher to match the student's rate of progress with the
appropriately graded course. 

On completion of the Basic Course, the student is ready to begin playing the great piano masterworks.

• Alfred's Basic Adult Piano Course - Levels 1, 2, 3
Written for the adult beginner who wishes to learn the piano by playing chords quickly.
• Alfred's Basic Adult All-in-One Course - Levels 1, 2, 3
Written for the adult beginner who wishes to learn the piano by playing chords quickly,
this course adds selected pages of Theory, Technic, and Popular Repertoire.
